The article was so heart touching as almost every other nursing mama gets to hear that she’s not
producing enough and is forced to believe that their bodies are incompatible of doing something so natural.

I’m so glad I had my mom and MIL to support me through it. The nurses really helped me get my hands on to it when I deliverd my baby. Still, I got to hear every now and then that top up with formula as the baby isn’t fat and how he’s not getting enough nutrients and how I should introduce purees already. When I discussed with my doctor how my baby always has his hands in his mouth, the first thing she said was you might not be producing enough milk and he might always be hungry and have you though about formula. I knew it was coming when I saw her office with quite a lot of Enfamil posters.

However, by that time, I had already found you for all the guidance that you shower upon us. You help me so much throughout this beautiful journey. I’m a silent reader but pouring my heart out today because the article reminded me of all of these things. You are blessing for all the breastfeeding mamas. Alhumdullilah with all this support my baby is now 5 months old ebf with no top ups and perfectly healthy ❤
