Those who couldn’t didn’t get enough skilled support and those who wouldn’t, probably never got the correct information to base their decisions on.

A perfect breastfed journey has many many faces.

There’s a painful (HARMFUL!) belief that shuru mein tau dard hota hee hai (initially breastfeeding has to hurt) and that it calms down only over time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Just like every other time there’s pain in life, it’s an alarm for something going wrong, any amount of pain while breastfeeding is not only not supposed to happen but it’s also a red alert. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

A painful latch is an INCORRECT latch. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
