World Breastfeeding Week is not just about every woman who breastfeeds. It is in fact more about those who couldn’t and those who wouldn’t.

Those who couldn’t didn’t get enough skilled support and those who wouldn’t, probably never got the correct information to base their decisions on.

A perfect breastfed journey has many many faces.

From giving a syringe full of colostrum, combination feeding, exclusively pumping to exclusively breastfeeding into toddlerhood. Each of these are successful breastfeeding journeys.

Just like every other time there’s pain in life, it’s an alarm for something going wrong, any amount of pain while breastfeeding is not only not supposed to happen but it’s also a red alert. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

A painful latch is an INCORRECT latch. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
